Recap: 1st Coachella Valley Para Karate Tournament

On July 13, we proudly sponsored the 1st Coachella Valley Para Karate Tournament at Rancho Mirage High School. This historic event was a resounding success, bringing together participants, families, and supporters from across the valley. Our UCPIE students demonstrated incredible skill, determination, and sportsmanship, making us all proud.

The atmosphere was electric as our participants showcased their karate techniques, cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd. It was a day filled with inspiration, community spirit, and the celebration of abilities. "Seeing our athletes in their Karate Gi uniforms performing with confidence and grace, was truly inspiring." said John Sprogis CEO of the UCPIE.

Regal Fundraising Campaigns Supporting United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire

We're excited to announce our August fundraiser in partnership with Regal Cinemas! This campaign aims to support United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire (UCPIE) in our mission to advance the independence, productivity, and full citizenship of people with disabilities.

About the Campaign:
Starting on Thursday, August 1, 2024, our goal is to reach 30 bundles. Each bundle contributes directly to our programs and services, making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities in our community.

Register Now for the 27th Annual Tour de Palm Springs!

We are thrilled to announce that registrations are now open for the 27th Annual Tour de Palm Springs in Coachella Valley, taking place on February 7 & 8, 2025. This year, the event will honor our military, first responders, and veterans.

The Tour de Palm Springs is one of the largest and most festive cycling charity events in America. Every year, up to 10,000 cyclists from 46 different states and 4 countries come together for this incredible cause. Since its inception in 1998, with the help of 2,000 volunteers, the Tour de Palm Springs has distributed nearly $4,000,000 to over 150 local nonprofit organizations.

Join STEPtember and Help Raise $2.5 Million for Cerebral Palsy Research and Assistive Technology

We at United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire (UCPIE) are thrilled to announce our participation in the STEPtember fundraising campaign! This global health and wellness event is dedicated to supporting life-changing cerebral palsy research and assistive technology. We're calling on you to join us in this fun, safe, and virtual challenge to help raise $2.5 million.

What is STEPtember and How Does It Work?

STEPtember is a month-long event where participants commit to taking 10,000 steps a day throughout September. Whether you walk, roll, push, swim, or ride, every step counts towards supporting cerebral palsy research and disability innovation.

How to Participate:

Sign Up: Visit [our STEPtember page](www.steptemper.us/join/UCPoftheinlandempire) and sign up. You can create or join a team of up to four people or register as an individual.

Fundraise: Raise funds to support groundbreaking cerebral palsy research and assistive technology. Every dollar you raise goes towards making a significant impact.

Step Up: Commit to taking the equivalent of 10,000 steps per day. Track your progress online or through the STEPtember app.

Share: Spread the word! Encourage your friends and family to support your efforts and donate to this worthy cause.
