At United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire (UCPIE), we strive to empower individuals with disabilities by providing essential tools that improve their quality of life. One of our recent success stories is Kaylee, a bright and joyful young girl who has been an inspiration to everyone in our community.
Kaylee was born with an open palate, which made feeding a daily challenge for her family. Her parents had to hold her during mealtimes, making it difficult for her to sit up and feed comfortably. Thanks to the dedication of our team and the generosity of our donors, we were able to secure a custom feeding chair designed to meet Kaylee’s unique needs.
The impact was immediate. Kaylee’s mother shared her gratitude with us, saying, “We got Kaylee’s chair. Thank you so much for helping my daughter. I appreciate you all so very much for getting her what she needs. I can’t express how thankful I am! Here’s a picture of her being happy in it.”
Now, Kaylee can sit up on her own, making mealtimes not only easier for her family but also more enjoyable for Kaylee herself. This chair has given her a new level of independence and comfort, and we are thrilled to have played a part in this transformation.
At UCPIE, this is what we work for—helping families live life without limits. Every donation, every volunteer, and every act of support helps us create these life-changing moments. Thank you to everyone who contributes to our mission.
