On November 6, 2024, United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire hosted a special Volunteer Appreciation Happy Hour at the beautiful Casuelas Cafe in Palm Desert. The event brought together an incredible group of people—our dedicated board members, new and seasoned volunteers, and supporters who make our mission possible.
With 30 attendees, the atmosphere was full of camaraderie, great ideas, and laughter. Guests enjoyed a delicious spread of burritos, flautas, quesadillas, and margaritas, thanks to the fantastic hospitality of Casuelas Cafe. The restaurant did an amazing job, adding a touch of warmth and excellence to the evening.
Beyond the fun, our volunteers continued to inspire us with their generosity. We were thrilled to see the group come together to raise additional funds for our upcoming Firebirds Raffle, with the drawing set for December 11, 2024. This extra effort exemplifies the heart and passion of our UCPIE community.
This gathering was more than just a thank-you; it was a celebration of the incredible team that helps us create impactful change. We are so grateful for the commitment, creativity, and enthusiasm everyone brings to the table. A heartfelt thank you to all who attended and to Casuelas Cafe for providing such a wonderful venue for this special event.
