Dear Friends of United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire.
This August, we are excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for our community to engage in a creative and impactful initiative. In partnership with the Cathedral City Peace Initiative and the S.C.R.A.P. Gallery, we invite you to participate in the “Pieces For Peace” exhibition.
About the Exhibition
The “Pieces For Peace” exhibition is designed to observe the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21, 2024. This event aims to foster a culture of peace within our community by showcasing artwork that reflects on the artists’ roles in cultivating peace. The exhibition will be held at the Cathedral City Senior Center and will feature a diverse array of media, including paintings, prints, sculptures, photography, and mixed media. We strongly encourage the use of recycled and repurposed materials to promote environmental sustainability.
Call to Artists
Artists and students from around the world are invited to submit their work for this meaningful exhibit. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a budding creator, we encourage you to reflect on your contribution to peace and express it through your art. This is a unique opportunity to share your vision of peace and be part of a global dialogue.
How to Participate
To participate in the “Pieces For Peace” exhibition, please submit your entries by September 16, 2024, to:
68743 Perez Rd. D-16,
Cathedral City, CA 92234

Get Involved
We encourage our UCP-IE community to get involved in this initiative. Whether you submit your own artwork, encourage others to participate, or simply spread the word, your involvement helps promote a culture of peace and inclusivity.
Save the Date: September 21, 2024
In addition to the “Pieces For Peace” exhibition, we are thrilled to remind you that our 34th Annual Bowlathon will also take place on September 21, 2024, coinciding with International Peace Day. This is a perfect opportunity for us to come together as a community, celebrate peace, and support our mission at UCP-IE. Mark your calendars and join us for a day filled with art, community spirit, and fun!
Let’s come together to support these incredible initiatives and make a positive impact through art, creativity, and community engagement. We look forward to seeing the amazing pieces our community will contribute to the exhibition and to celebrating peace and unity at our Bowlathon.
With gratitude,
United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire Development Team
